Our farm technician can be booked to collect individual or group samples from animals for routine parasite surveillance or post treatment testing. Using wormers without faecal egg samples can result in in-effective  treatment or anthelmintic resistance.

Fly Strike Prevention

If you have a small number of sheep then buying large bottles of strike prevention sprays can represent a big financial outlay and significant drug wastage.

It might be more cost effective to book a farm technician visit for dagging and spraying.

Treat sheep at the start of the fly season, pre-shearing, with a short acting product, followed by a long acting product 4 weeks post shearing.

Keep an eye on the strike risk in your area or report a case to warn others via the nadis website

Utilise our farm technician service for help implementing your flock of herd foot care plan.

This might include foot bathing, lameness scoring, foot rot vaccination or some routine trimming of breeds that benefit from more routine foot trimming (e.g goats and some continental mountain breeds of sheep) as advised by the vet team.
